Hi I am new. Just joined, from South Africa. Love to crochet! This is something I have made as a gift for a little girl.
I made the pattern up as I went along so don’t have one to post.

We had a great response to my last post about the next theme – it sounds like everyone likes the ideas of a Granny Squares theme. The great thing about Granny Squares is that you can make them as large or as small as you want, you can sew them together into all sorts of different things, [...]

A last minute gift for my sister. She said she wanted a change purse to take with her to the gym, so I crocheted this little one with some left over yarn.
This was my first attempt at adding a zipper, and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t that difficult.

I just made two more Christmas presents. These are my little mini Geometric Pillows.
They just measure about 22cm; they are very cute for a girl’s room.
I made the same way has the Bobbles pillow, only this time I used geometric crochet to decorate the front.

Here are my final two Christmas presents:
I bought my grandmother a shirt for Christmas and figured some hangers would be nice. Next time I will use nicer yarn. This stuff drove me crazy.
I totally messed up a little hat for my best friend’s daughter, so I had to hurry up and crochet something. I decided [...]

The pattern is on Lion Brand’s site for free (with an account), and can be found here: Amigurumi Penguin.
I also made this baby blanket for the new [...]

I propose that, as Christmas is still a few weeks away, we extend the theme until January 1st. That way, we’ll have [...]

Hi Everybody,
I know you have not seen any posts from me for a long time. My life has been turned up side down over the last couple of weeks. Don’t worry it is all good but it has been quite a journey. Unfortunately I feel I cannot give enough time to the Crochet Along and [...]

This was the Christmas present to myself that I started forever ago! I had some troubles along the way, and it still looks lumpy, but I learned a lot from it so I think I will have much better luck in the future! I also didn’t realize how much material would be needed! I think [...]
